Shower Temp

I have read posts of people showering their chameleons? What is the recommended temp?

Its for a male Panther, I bought him a log to stand on and assume a nice mist for about 15 minuets or so.

I use my temp gun and I've found he likes his water at 82f he'll just sit in it at that temp warmer or colder and he moves out of it funny since that's the same temp of the mist in his cage :p
But it feels just luke warm by touch hope that helps

It does. I set the shower head to the max temp, let it drip and when it landed at the bottom it was luke warm.

There was plenty of room for him to move around and he climbed as high as he could so it was not hot.

I made sure the room was at 78 degrees and of-course he has a light lamp so he is good.

I would like to do all the natural right things as possible for him to enjoy life.

Im a newb so any advice is welcome.

Hello! Welcome to CF!
We are super glad you have found this site!;)
This is definitely the place to be for information, and networking with other keepers.
How long have you had your chameleon?
Is there a particular reason you think he needs a shower?

To answer your question:
You want the water not hot, not cold, just about room temp, or a bit warmer. You want to bounce the water off a wall, onto the plant/branch/chameleon.

Please ask any and all questions you may have, and feel free to share your own opinions as well.
Again, welcome to CF!
