Should I use a zoo med power sun

Hey I have a male 5 month old panther. I have started to fr him from time to time and I want to get full lighting on his fr. I saw these zoo med power sun bulbs and was wondering if there any good? I like how its heat and uvb all in one. Any thoughts on this bulb?

I haven't used one myself. The only thing that concerns me, is what if the sweet spot for the UVB is too hot as a basking spot? Depending on how hot they are, it could be an issue. It would be harder to tweak than changing the wattage of a basking bulb, or raising the bulb farther from the cage. Since I've never seen one in person, I'm not sure if that would even be a problem, though.

That's true I never thought about that. He would probable have to get to close to the basking bulb in order to get sufficient uvb

Im using a 100w megaray myself... bulb seems very well built... thicker "glass" than other bulbs, i took pictures of mine when i first got it.... if you want pics to compare to other bulbs, i dont have any for other bulbs though...

I did a little research on the megaray bulb. It seems like it is a great bulb and is definitely getting better reviews then the power sun. Do u have a uvb meter?
