Should I do it!!??

I have always wanted a nice blue Nosy be', so I ordered a male yesterday from FL Chams.
I sat here and staired at the sire on the pc for several minutes, thinking about how much extra work, supplies and feeders it will cost me to have 4 chams in my care.

I do have am extra cage, and all the vines and lights and stuff for another set-up.

This will add another 5 minutes or so to my morning routeen, but it's not problem, and it would be easy to run another line to my MistKing system but I would need to buy another nozzle!!

I live alone and besides work, have no other resposiblities or things to do, so it's not a matter of taking extra time.

So, I am weak-willed!! should I do it, or cancel my order while there is still time!!??

i personally would have gone for a faly:rolleyes: but go for it!

I was really debating between a Faly and a Nosy be', I love them both :)

One good thing, my feeders wont go to waste!! I have a problem with not using them up fast enough, esp silkies and hornworms that gets like 3 inches long! LOL

Better start thinking about raising my own cricks.
Already have a nice dubia colony going, with tons of roaches of all sizes, for the adults and the little ones :)

All I need to do is hang another dripper (Gateraid bottle!) and find some space and a small table to put him on.
Got plenty of cleaned branches of all sizes and was going to use them in Smeagols cage when I upgrade him.

Dont panthers get a little bigger then veileds?

P.S also means I will use more water!! started collecting the rain water in big buckets with plastic mesh over the top to keep bugs and junk out.
It has already saved me from having to take plastic jugs to work (I work in a lab) to fill with distilled water ;)

I already have 3 chams (well, I will on Wednesday, paid for him back in March!!), so, what's one more cham!!??

Only thing, this increases my chances of having to make vet visits :p

Expecting delivery of my Nosy be male today and my Kammer's Ambilobe male tomorrow!!
I will have 4 chams, so I guess I am officialy committed to cham husbandry :)

lol! Seems you have bitten by the bug! I have seen so many people on here start out with one and within months have multiple chameleons. I am surprised when I see people on here 6 months later getting out of owning them. Not saying that is going to be your case at all but it does seem sometimes people really jump into it and then later on down the road realize it is more than they bargained for. It took me two years to get my second one and I am sticking with that number. Good luck and welcome to the Kammer family!! My Sambava Romeo is a Kammer!

Oh my gosh! I have had one cham for over a year and I think he is a handful. That being said, I have been working on a melleri room for months - but it will be many, many more months before it is ready for any inhabitants. I'm really slow compared to most people on here. Good for you if you can handle it!
