Should I be worried about my cham sleeping?

He is still going back and sleeping today it was 1:00 and he went back to sleep. If you can see in my picture I have 2 vines on the back of my cage this is where he will crawl on and then go to sleep in them. So what I did today was I took the vines out of the cage. He seems very healthy and active, eats and drinks, just sleeps after he gets what he wants for the day.

how long has this behavior occur ever since you got him?
Mine also exhibit the same symptoms but he gradually sleep later and later.
IMHO, the travel (shipped in a dark box) can screw up his internal clock.
But, you should see him gradually sleep later and later.

My light schedule is from 6 am to 6 pm.
but, both my chameleons usually already go to their bed spot early (during 4.30 pm). and go to sleep around 5.30 pm.

Do you turn on lights sometimes after 8 pm?

No its on a timer, so I think they go on at 8 and off at 8. When I wake up (not at 8) I always see him under the light or hanging under it. I normally will throw in some crickets which he eats most of them and then at 11:30 my mister goes on, and I will spray the cage down once or twice and he goes back to sleep. It seems like he has been going to sleep even earlier now. To answer your question Ive only had him for about 2 weeks he is almost 5months old and he has been doing this ever since i got him. I got him on kingsnake from a breeder I have had really good success with and like, he is also cbb.
