Yesterday I got this giant, thick branch from a local nursery. Just wanted to know if I should add anything else to Spyro’s enclosure. I got another pothos and a philodendron outside. I might re add one back into the his enclosure since he has an empty spot.

Also, I kinda don’t even see him as a chameleon anymore, he’s just my cutie / he’s like my kid to me. ♡

So true 😭 I feel so parental.
One of my vets told him to "go to mama" and in my heart I thought "I am mama!"

As for suggestions, I think branches are something you can never have too many of

lol, yeah I have a basket outside labeled “ Spyro’s branches “ and there’s just like 10 branches in there that I just found. I just walk outside to a tree and there’s always branches and I add it to the bin.

I just love Spyro too much, I feel like I would get depressed if he died lol. My biggest fear is him developing MBD.

I just feel like his guardian lol at first they’re just a pet but after like a few months it feels like they’re your child. lol.

Not sure what it is about them but they steal your heart.

I too have a "cool stick" pile. Much more sticks than I could ever make use of. It's really cool that chameleons make use out of everything you put in there. My geckos just like...get addicted to one hide and that's that 😅

I'm so mega paranoid for Spooble's health. Installing a pet cam (wyze if you're interested) was a really good decision because I get to observe his behaviors nonstop, hopefully catch any odd behaviors early if ever he exhibits them. I do feel positive that Spyro is safe from MBD being that you have the proper UVB and supplementation schedule. It's super preventable! But I understand the needless worries all too well.

Happy he's showing you his greens nowadays :)
