Should be worried about this bump?

This is Randall, he's about 6 months old. He's got this bump on his neck. I've done some looking into it and some think over supplementation and others think lack of hydration. What are you thoughts? He's acting normal, his urates are white. I recently increased his misting schedule. My old crappy timer got all messed up (the button push in all the buttons you want it on for kind) so his misting schedule was all wonky and not on at the right times. It still looked like it was on enough, just weird times, so hydration could be the cause.

Hi there! How long has it been there? Has it grown over time or did this happen over night? Are you able to see into his mouth for any abnormalities? Will he let you near enough to touch it (Hard or soft)? Is he eating fine? And what is your supplement schedule. I also noticed the uv light. Is it a coil?

So I am on the same line of questioning as @janjan20 and are you talking about his jaw? Because in these pics I am not seeing anything on the back of his neck. Lighting looks incorrect....

Yes the bump on the jaw. I know the lighting isn't ideal but I have a 36" T5H0 linear UV bulb for his adult enclosure. It's just not finished yet. He's eating normal, acting normal, stool and urates look normal. I wish I could take a closer look but he's just starting to tolerate my hand in the cage without trying to take a chunk... work in progress. I don't want to undo that progress by grabbing him for a closer inspection or vet visit unless I HAVE to. He eats mostly crickets and the occasional hornworms, dubia roaches when I can get them. The crickets get dusted with Repashy Calcium with LoD every time.

Well it looks normal to me. He is puffing his gular area :) Is it like that on both sides?

I would be cautious having him under compact bulbs too long. Mbd really is not something you want to have to deal with. It is quite sad. The other thing about compact bulbs is if you are right on the bulb they produce a very high UVI level. This is just as bad as the improper uvb bulb.
