Shipping with USPS?

How is this possible? I thought no animals could be shipped this way! The person I purchased my Jackson from shipped overnight through them. The box was marked live and everything. I didn't know you could do this hmmm!

I receive live feeders from USPS all the time so I guess other live animals are ok.

They save some money, but the box isn't guranteed to be there the next day in all locations... Not that smart of a move to me.
