Do you need an export permit to send a chameleon to Canada from the United States? Anyone recommend a shipping company?

Would it be possible for me to ship one of my chameleons to a friend in Canada?

Like Rob said you would require cites permits witch would not be cost effective for a single chameleon. I wish it were easier to ship between US and canada I would love to send some of my babies down there.
