Wow! That‘s young. Where did you get her?
A local pet shop which frequently makes the mistake of selling chameleons too young. I've witnessed them sell a mother a baby panther from the same clutch (by my guess same clutch, but male because green in color) buying it for their 8 year old child (I know I'm bad for eavesdropping), they were improperly explaining the care to her and she was asking them if they were hard to care for, the store simply was trying to get a sale so obviously they just said yes. I hope that chameleon is still alive but I gave it a month or two tops. This happens all too often and I happened to have extra money from a big holiday bonus, and had always wanted a panther and had recently purchased an older veiled, I figured I'd take the opportunity to save one from a similar fate and provide it with a good loving home 🥰😍

When I first got her she was much smaller than she is now, I've seen videos of recently hatched chameleons and chameleons only a few weeks into their growth, and when I first purchased her, her traits were similar. Panthers are smaller than veileds from my understanding but by my estimates she was still very tiny and likely only recently hatched (within a few weeks).

It was pretty cute watching all the little baby panthers romp around in the cage with eachother, it was super fun to watch them interact with eachother.

I have a friend that runs the reptile portion of an animal rescue. She’s always looking for good people to adopt once her vets have helped her fix them up. She’s not on here much anymore, she stays so busy but if you are ever interested in a chameleon from her, I can put you in touch with her.
Would absolutely love a little fixer upper to give a loving home! I definitely have another enclosure I can use and can also buy a larger cage if needed.
