Shedding

Is it considered healthy when my baby (4-5months?) can shed in like 3 hours? Every piece of skin just comes off... Shouldnt it be like a day atleast? He has done this the past 4 sheds... Which is every time he has shedded in my care

its perfectly normal. Babies can shed super fast. if you blink, theyre done. No worries. as he gets older, he will slow down. adults tend to shed a body part at a time as opposed to their whole body at once.

That's totally normal for a younger chameleon. The older they become, the slower they shed. But a baby at this age doesn't need more than hours to shed completely. If he needed a day or two at this age, you should be worried about keeping conditions .

anywhere from about three to four weeks. I have seen some on here shed every two weeks. And yes as others mentioned, it depends on your chameleon. There is nothing set in stone that says it HAS to shed at a certain time. They pretty much do it when they are ready but atleast once a month is the norm for a baby/juvi
