shedding time.

Yogg is 9 month old male vield, he's shedding in segments now. About two weeks ago he shed the top half of his body (spine area) and now his bottom bhalf of his body is milky....like he's going to shed the rest soon. Is it normal for them to shed in segments like this? Over this period of time?

Yes, it is normal. As adults their growth rate slows right down, and they tend to shed different parts of their body at different times. Sometimes it seems like there's always a bit of shed coming off of one part or another, lol! Amy shed every month until she hit 6 months, then it became every 3 months. She will shed maybe head first, followed by legs and feet then the rest of her and it can take several days to a couple of weeks.
