Only give him a shower if you know how to do it properly. There are videos on how to do it correctly, but if you don't think your chameleon can handle it you should hold off. Stick with the extra misting and that should be enough. If it doesn't work, then you should give him a shower.

And he still closes his eyes and he will open his eyes and close them should i get more foliage so he can feel hidden but it doesn’t make much sense to me cause he eats from a cup while I’m holding it
