Shedding baby

My 3 month veiled chameleon still has about an inch of shed skin on his tail he hasn't gotten off. It has only been one day since he shed but I don't want it to get constricted. How would you reccomend getting it off and how much longer should I give him before I take action? Any advice all advice is appreciated. Thanks!

I would up the misting and give a warm shower to see if that will get it off but don't have the shower directly aiming at the cham aim it at a wall so the water spray bounces off the wall

Ok thanks for the reply, by the time I got up his tale had already been shed so guess I wasn't patient enough
