Shedding. And eating

Yes it is normal for chams not to eat before, during and after.

I have a panther chameleon and the day he arrived he began shedding within 5 minutes after being out of the box. But he ate and drank during his shedding.

I told the breeder and they said it was a very good sign that he shed so fast in his new cage. But they didnt say why. I thought mabey he was just happy with his cage. But I dont know.

What you measuring his temps with? What size basking bulb you using?

Exo terra turmameter. Had no problems till today when weather was not so hot
