There is still some skin on the crest (top of his head) from the last time my little joop shed. I was wondering if there was a way to make him shed that off faster?

he will get it off eventualy...just let it come off naturaly dont peel it or force it.

Increase the humidity by misting a little more, it helps with the shedding. Don't remove it yourself, it'll will come off on it's own.

It may not even come off until the next time he sheds. When I first got Lily she had like a greyish looking bit of stuck on shed on top of her casque and that didn't come off until she shed fully the next time. Like Bridgofaith suggested, raising the humidity may help.
