So it was feeding time at the zoo, and I had all 3 cages open and 4 hungry panthers to feed. Three of my panthers take to b. dubia nymphs eagerly, whereas Enakai, my new 1.7 month old Nosy Faly female, ignores them for the most part. She is a picky eater, timid, and I believe she is still settling in. I have to feed her crickets, which I don't breed. She will take crickets when I am at a good distance away.
A damn housefly was buzzing around as I was hand feeding my chams, annoying the mess out of me. I was just thinking "I wish that fly would mosey on over to one of.." and before I could complete my thought, it flew into Enakai and Kraken's cage, and she went "thwap!!!" The fly landed a foot away from her, but she moved with a purpose and nailed it. I was just 2 feet from her and she didn't think twice! So proud of my little girl
To think, I had 3 cages, and 4 panthers...and my little girl was the lucky diner!
