She actually snuggled in!

Tonight's the first time since before laying that my chunky girl actually left the top of the cage to snuggle a sleeping spot. I'm taking that as an excellent sign! 20161209_194441.jpg

Cool! She may go through phases like my boy where he will decide for a week or so to sleep hanging on the screen, then on a vine out in the open, then in a "normal" spot in his pathos. Zaphod has always done this but generally settles in a nice covered spot.

She used to always go to a similar area, in the lower third on a few different branches and she always slept upright. She quit leaving the top few inches of her cage at all about a week prior to laying and started sleeping wherever she was when the lights kicked off so going back to old bedtime routines is a very good sign!

It may not be, and might just be her coloring or old skin getting ready to shed. But the white areas running down her sides in between her brown spots. They just look different to me. it may be nothing, but if she has been spending lots of time up in the top of the cage, I just thought maybe...

The white spots on her side are a factory setting, lol. When she flares, there's a lot of banding through them. She also has one white sock on each foot, so she's named after the Cherokee word for socks.

Ah. Ok. I like that! "Factory setting". LOL. I wonder if there is a translucent cham somewhere in her lineage...
