Shaky limbs

my 5 month old panther I've noticed has had shaky legs, but this is ONLY when he's crawling on the roof of his screen cage. When he crawls on his branches and plants, he's perfectly normal. Is the shakiness just because it's difficult for him to climb? The hands only shake when he takes them off the screen to take a step, then he grabs the screen firmly.

Also any ideas on how to keep him OFF the roof would be helpful, as i don't want him to burn himself
