Good news: That doesn't look like MBD really at all.

Let David take a look and then we can be sure for sure. :p

I think maybe the shaking might have been a start to MBD but it doesn't look like there are many bone deformities at all yet, from my very small amount of experience.

Just give the little girl calcium every day and she should be good and MBD will be prevented.

When you dust the food, put it in a plastic cup, take a little pinch of calcium and then swirl the food around in it so that it is LIGHTLY dusted (not completely white) and then put them in there for her to eat. :)

My chameleon has pretty bad MBD in his right arm.
This is what 'double elbows' looks like. :(

THAT is MBD. :( In the arm, not the leg.

If you hadn't said anything I would say she looks perfect :). She might have some metabolic imbalance but now you have the information you should not see any more clinical signs (symptoms) of illness.

She's such a little sweetie, too.

I'm glad it turned out just to be very very mild imbalance, but if it keeps up, it will be MBD.

Get them containers of calcium, and you'll be ready to go.

You're welcome and good luck :)

Did you post what brands of supplements you use? Some have more or less D3 and should be used more or less accordingly. If you tell us what brand you use and/or how much D3 is in it, we can help give you some advice that you can change to suit your situation.

I assume he didn't have any when he got her, because he said he would buy some.

I recommended some cheap deals for him though.

Same calcium, different website.

Minerall, exo-terra, and flukers are some other brands that might work. There's some controversy over flukers though. Dunno why.

The Flukers powder is the same sort of thing as other powders (always check d3 concentration on the label).
Flukers gutloads are disliked on here, just because high quality products like Cricket Crack or Bug Burger are so much better.

Ah alright thanks for clearing that up. When I hear flukers I always assume it's calcium or the lights. Didn't know they had gutload.
