I like the shooting gallery, but that won’t work for solid sides/doors. However, one of these https://framschams.com/collections/screen-feeders should as they use strong magnets. You would have to hot glue a small piece of screening (or plastic canvas) inside it for the bugs to climb. Place it on the door and then you can sit back and watch your chams enjoy their meals. They are also quite good at preventing escapes. As for the density, make sure your basking areas are clear enough for the uvb to penetrate. You could maybe move around or remove some foliage, leaving some dense areas for hiding and some clear areas for you to view. Chams usually stay towards the top section. They are really good - expert level - at blending in. This morning I was looking for my veiled girl for like 5 minutes and starting to freak out…she was literally right in front of me. If I had a dime for each time this happens, I could take a nice vacation to Madagascar to look at chameleons.

This is night time so lights off. Cage one is a little denser (Millie’s) and cage two I tried to make less dense (Rogues). I do work 8-3, but even this weekend during the day I think I saw rogue at the top two or three times max. Since Monday I’ve seen him once

Dang! That’s a lot of plants! Maybe trim some back a bit if you can, or remove one.

Your initial reasoning for dense planting was spot on though like I said earlier, I you did plant a lot lol.

My 2 cents would be wait to see what thins out on its own, and after things are established and happy, prune it back, I’m sure things can be opened up a bit looking at your cages.

As long as humidity and heat are on point that should be the focus.

An excess of ambition is seldom a bad thing.

If you do remove a plant you can always keep it on standby as an alternative option if something dies or is consumed by your veiled

Finally found rogue!! His colors are POPPING so much more even after a few days of not seeing him which is super fun. Millie is still just chilling and giving me the side eye
