Selling my baby Jacks when they get older....

No it is not too low. There is a high risk of losing a lot of the clutch at that age. The pet store is taking a risk that they will survive. That price is fair for an animal that has a 50% chance of living. Over 4 months old and you will get more for them as they have a better chance at survival.
I was under the impression he would be selling them when they are older, as opposed to right now. I understand it would be the price at this point in time but not later on. Guess I'm a little confused.

Actually you are right. I didn't notice where he said in the "selling when they get older." I stand corrected. :)

yeah Texas Panther Man selling them by being a vendor at a show isn't a bad idea. There are alot of local shows in the chicagoland area. The place I go to charges $25 a table. but IF all 9 of my Jacks do survive to be 2-3 months old would it be worth it to drive an hr. to the show, pay $25 for the table, and drive an hr. back? I'd pretty much have to sell all of them to make $ right?

Also, whoever made the comment on the Jacks I bought at LLL....your prob. right. I bought the pair for $110 so they prob. were wild caught.

Anyways, all of babies are still doing fine. I caught one munching on ff. Quick ques....Sleeping and less-active babies may be at more of a risk of dying???

Yes the risk is higher. The best thing you can do for them is to make sure they get a drop in temp of like 20 degrees F. IMO - night drop is key to keeping them alive.

$29? CB? I'm not sure that sounds right.
That's why I included the caveat "they said". However, they had about 5 the same size which is suggestive of being from the same clutch.

if i do sell them i plan to sell them locally
If you can line purchasers up on your own locally, you can certainly do better than $25 each. You will put some money into their care, but you'd also have the pleasure of meeting the people your babies are going to.

I believe the original post said the $25 prices was for when the babies were 2 months, not 4 more months.
