Selfmade sprayer for yemen need advice!

hello guys! almost done whit my cage but
im working on a self spraying system...
the things if got so far are a 12v car window liquid pump
a time clock so it will go off twice a day.. for 30 secs
and a battery charger from 220 to 12v..
and a bottle 2L.. with special water ofc..
but the problem is.. when i put my bottle higher as my pump
it will spray.. but keeps driping after it stopped..
till my bottle is empty.. but when i put my bottle lower as my pump
it wont pump any water up... Now i found a pump that is instant 220v..
from exo terra that is in waterfalls to..
and guesing that does work.. because it has more power.. or am i doing
something wrong!! sorry for my bad english.. from holland and trying to get the best for my yemen!! THX ALLOT ! already greets !!

I think t has to do with gravity / pressure. You need to create more pressure (restriction) somewhere in the piping so the water doesn't flow freely. maybe add a "U" in the piping so it ends up acting like a toilet, and the pressure evens out.

ermmm.... my cage is from glass... so i kinda cant make any wholes.. in the sides...
got in the middle of the roof glas.. 50/50/80 a bar that is 12cm's of wide and its a air..
roaster.. so i can make wholes in that same as i did for my lamps.. any sugestions?

Help.. spraying system homemade

ok so... my pump .. just died.. i think.. aint sucking any water...
he did this evening but when i tryed some other way around to stop the
constant flowing water even when the pump was of..
i think he dry cooked.. or something.. any other suggestions!?
