My 6 month old panther seems to have scratched his tail bad enough to remove some skin either yesterday or early this morning. I'll take some picts tomorrow, but I was wondering if I should apply any antibacterial ointment on the raw part in the morning?
It seems like he must have got the end wedged in between a sharp piece of wood because both sides are partially cut and showing a bit of hanging skin. The skinned part is black and less than a half inch long, but he's still quite active and using the tail... but of course I worry.
