I had asked in an earlier thread about sourcing these, and clearly it is not as easy I had hoped. So, I had let the grass in my backyard grow the last few weeks and it was time to mow. As I was mowing the yard, the greasshoppers were a flyin!!
Enter my 10 year old son and an offer of 10 cents per bug he could catch!!
Now have over 50 ranging from 3/4" to 2". Mostly green, some grey ones that I am guessing are the males as they fly. Dont know species or how to try and breed them, so for now, just some good feeding the next coupe of days!
