Say hello to one of the sweetest Veileds

Hey, my veiled chameleon L came to say hello to everyone.
I am new here in the forum, since one week ago.
I was looking for a forum about chameleons to share with you my Veiled Chameleon, L.
He is so calm, not mind being handled, on the contrary, every time I approach him, he tries to climb on my hand for a walk.
I always see people saying the Veiled chameleon has an evil behavior and are grumpy, but not mine, and it makes me think that they become aggressive by the way people treat him.
For example, I never put mine in front of a mirror, never took it the wrong way, never forced him to leave the cage or climbing on me.

I think his age is between 10 months or 1 year, the pet shop where I bought it did not know to tell me.

Yes, I'm so glad to have one that is so sweet.
When something starts to bother his eyes, he comes to me and starts scratching his eyes on my finger. so grateful for it trust me.

Your chameleons are so cute and awesome, love your Luie.
The favorite place of my L is also in the head.
I tried to introduce a cat to my chameleon, but he hid himself, and went all day afraid me, what you did to the dog and Luie get along?

And you can tell me at what age Luie began to show their best colors?
I do not know how old mine is, but I suppose it comes 10 months old or 12 months old, what do you think?

You are way more experienced than me, has some lessons that I can convey?

I'd say he started getting colors around 8 or 9 months. I have a couple of albums of him at every age here on my profile page.

My daughter kept chameleons before me and she always brought them to our house. I would even petsit for her so Red had always been around chameleons. I free range my chameleons and that seems to really make them happy. It did take me a couple of years to fully trust my dog Red with them when I'm not at home. About the only thing he ever does to them is smell their buts.

The only tips I have is to keep your little guy healthy and happy and it looks like you are doing that.

oh no, sorry to hear it, he was much loved and very loving.
We are proud that when an animal is aggressive by nature, as they say, becomes sweet and affectionate.
I'm sure his life was full of joy and happiness, I really feel for the loss = \

Today I recorded L scratching the eye on me, it was like a cat who wants affection, very sweet, then I remembered you and Luie.

It has a drip system and also one fountain.
I generally use spray 3 times a day for 3-5 minutes, he almost always runs away from the water, but today was hot.

I like code geass, haven't seen the others. My favs are Nabari No Oh, Death Note, Air Gear and Ergo Proxy. I think you should check out Nabari No Oh, it has a lot of similarities to Naruto but I honestly think it's a little better. My cham is named after the main char, Miharu.
