Cage Info:
Cage Type - hex glass with plexiglass lide with holes and screened in holes for basking light and flourescent light and fan, 29''h. about as round as a stop sign soon to be 4 foot screen/wood inclosure added to the top of the cage. he sits on his hibiscus tree by the window grazing on the greens and catching flys moths etc. daily.
Lighting - 100w basking light. 15w flourescent. 5am to 930 pm (timer) and a few hours of basking during the day
Temperature - 80-85 in cage 90 under basking light. Lowest overnight temp is 70 measured with digital thermometer/hygrometer. also i have a heating pad underneath for winter, not needed for summer. plastic lid keeps in heat, which is also not on or needed during summer. only night when its not too hot and basically only so he dont escape to his fav tree..
Humidity - my apt. is very dry, constantly reading 20 on the digi so i constantly spray and get to 90s. created by spraying, a mini fogger in dish in cage, moist moss under basking lamp, and the heat pad is under the outside of the cage under the water dish, not on during summer mostly use fogger and spraying.. it is hard to maintain the right humidity all day and night in my dry apt. digitl hygro/thermo.. seems accurate.
Plants - pothos, foliage, and bamboo on the floor of cage to soak up excess water that might cause bacteria and mold in cage. schefflera, jasmine, and hibiscus outside by window.
Placement - cage and schefflera located across from a window on the opposite wall not directly by it, no direct sunlight unless she is in the hibiscus or jasmine by window. she has her own fan and we constantly have fans on because we are on the third floor and it gets hottt. no air vents around except ac by window. cage is in living room so there are constant people and traffic and she dont seem to mind shes not mean or scared and never hides. the top of the glass cage is on a table about 4 feet off of the floor. it is soon to be put on the floor and the glass wil be 29" off floor and screen 4' off floor

Chameleon Info:
Your Chameleon - veiled, i think female because i see no bulges by tale or spurs on feet, and shes a doll, ill guess shes 4-6 months. i have had her for about a week.
Handling - daily handler, hand feed/water and let her explore her trees and outdoors on nice days. inside cage more during winter. probably disassemble screen enclosure and use just the glass with lid for winter.
Feeding - gutloaded and calcium dusted crickets. about six a day or i let her eat until shes done. usually one large meal about six crickets but sometimes a couple here and there throughout the day, no set schedule yet were just chillin and gettin to know eachother right now lol. eats sometimes in the mornings before i go to work she looks like shes on the prowl in the mornings. but sometimes the evenings depends on my working schedule. i put the crickets in a container that used to be the little dripper cuz they cant jump out of there. i do this because i desperately need the coconut fiber and moss for humidity and i dont want her to get mouthfuls of it and upset her stomache. not only do i use the fiber and moss for the humidity but if she falls out of her tree it will be softer than the edge of a clay planter, guys!!!! i see this in almost every picture of your guys' setups and i wonder if im the only one that wonders what would happen if they fell down and hit your planter!!. i gutload with flukers yellow gel water and the orange food gel cubes. she also eats fresh lettuce, fresh collard greens, fruits, tons of hibiscus leaves. she loves them! and any insect that flies by her window like flies and moths
Supplements - flukers reptacal mixed with i think its called herpavite? dust five dozen one time. too much dusting causes white calcium buildup on nostrils and blocks breathing
Watering - tap water sprayed from a mister lizard mist bottle a few times a day at least once if im extremely busy but 1-4 times daily until bottle is empty and i also cut a bottom of a cup out and suction cupped it to the glass high in the cage by the plants and vines so he has access to water all day. changed daily. i always see she drinking from glass and out of my hand i also give her bottled water and she drinks it out of the bottle cap.
Fecal Description - like bird poop black and white formed but moist never been tested for parasites.
History - bought around june 20th 09 from a PetLand in chillicothe ohio they said she was about 4 months old and came from florida i asked if the scars on the body was a skin disease and the said they didnt know but it shouldnt be anything serious..
Current Problem - the blue-ish black slash like marks all over her body.
