Well today my husband and I decided to get all the materials needed to breed our own crickets. Considering we live almost an hr away from pet stores. Saving money on gas back and forth, also saving on not buying anymore crickets. Got everything needed and our females are champs and laying their eggs like crazy. 7 to 10 days we should have our first batch of little ones to grow for Milly. She is doing great btw. It is going to feel very odd tending to everything without my husband. He leaves in the morning on a helicopter to head offshore for 2 weeks.
I linked a picture of Milly I took today, her habitat and cricket setup. She is hiding behind her camilia plant cooling from her basking spot. I hope she likes her green carpet. My daughter wanted to get purple lol.
When hubby returns we are going get the materials for Milly's new habitat we building. Undecided on what size. I tried to convence him I want the whole wall of one room her habitat. You should have seen his face lmao. He has years of carpentry skills before working offshore. He will have fun making her habitat.
What size would be best for a adult female Veiled Chameleon?
Also what type of wood is safe for them?
Any suggestions or help would be greatly appreciated !
