saved this poor lil lady

My girlfriend and I went to the river today and she started screaming! "There's a lizard swimming!! Wait holy crap it's drowning! Oh no it's so little."

It took me a few minutes to see it..
I finally saw her and put my hand into the water for her. She was so cold. She was indeed drowning!! Poor thing.
I let her sun on my hand for a good ten minutes then lowered my hand to the rocks and she went to them to sun. Unlike every lizard in the area though, she didn't run away when I walked up to her again to make sure she was okay. What a sweet little lizard! And my how pretty she was ♡

It was so sweet. She kept closing her lil eyes while she was sunning too. Poor little thing. The current was way too strong for her to try and swim! She kept getting sucked out into the deeper ends
