well after only 2 weeks of care and hardly no idea wat the hell im doing my poor baby chamcaught a URI...

too him to the vets and they gave be an antibiotic called baytril..

i totally changed his tank..got rid of anything that could possibly spawn bacteria..

after a week of wheezing, foaming at the mouth, a constant brown colour and manually giving him water and antibiotics thru a small syringe every day
i was in 2 minds to whether he was actaully gonna make it...

but i awoke the other day to a brightly coloured cham..and actually zapped a locust from my fingers for the first time.

seems he has responded well to the antibiotics and hes picking up again..

in a good way im glad this happend as it has taught me alot about husbandry and just basic maintinance of a cham. (altho i shud have done more research before got one). keeping a cham is not as easy as i had been told..

me and saph arnt out of the woods yet, he still has his mouth open occasionally but..but the bright green, and the vast improvement in his condition, mood, is definatly a good sign..

i cant thank some of the peeps on here enuf for the information..id be totally lost without....

fingers crossed for the future and willkeep u posted on his condition
