Vita Sand

Bone Aid

Could you use these to cover up the dirt in your live plants??
I've heard of people using things like this to cover up the dirt.
If it is ingested, its just a little extra calcium.
I would lean towards to Bone Aid for this purpose as it is strictly calcium.

In my opinion, i wouldnt choose sand unless you really have to and the granules must be very small. Sand (including calci-sand) is very hard to digest. Also the rigid granules may even damage your chams tongue if he shot at it. But this is just a guess as i dont keep sand in any of my reptile enclosures.

Nope I wouldnt do it.
Ive seen a million posts on the bearded dragon forums I use to be a memeber of about
beardies young and old eating the calci sand/vita sand and gettin impacted.

The safer way to go is just use river rocks or any other big rocks and make sure all the dirt is covered.
