Saliva

Hey guys,

So after 3 months and realizing banjo was misdiagnosed initially (what was mouth rot was mistaken for a URI) we have finally been cleared of infection after a month of being OFF baytril (he was on for 2 weeks)

I witnessed banjo yawn today and I saw a little more saliva in his mouth than usual. I left a message for my vet, I’m waiting to hear back.

does anyone have any input on why there would be more saliva than usual other than the chance of his infection coming back?

I’ve read that dehydration can make them have more saliva then usual, but banjo doesn’t seem dehydrated, I witness him drink water 3 times a day, he probably grabs a drink when I’m not looking too.

the coloring in his mouth seems normal, he eats and drinks and is active

Opinions?

Just for extra Info, he is in a dragon strand tall screen. Has a t5ho and his basking is 85 degrees. I use all three Arcadia supplements, earth pro A, Mg, and the multi. Thank you!
