runny droppings

i have a female jackson whos droppings im a little concerned about. she is about 6 months old. Everything seems normal but her droppings were runny and yellow with white in the middle. It was hanging off of one of the branches in her cage and extremely slimey and sticky when i went to remove it. any help is appreciated. thanks

I am not a poop expert. I am not a jackson expert. But fresh poop is sometimes a little bit sloppy if the chameleon has been eating a lot of larva, especially ones with high water content like hornworms. Does the fecal matter smell? Is she drinking well (the yellow concerns me a little)? When did you last have a fecal test done?

she is drinking well and it doesnt smell at all. i havent had her get a fecal exam yet. which brings me to another question of where i can find a good reptile veteranarian. i live in new jersey.

You are correct; but to someone perhaps new to chameleons and live bearing species at that, may mistake it for a weird poop. It is, afterall, yellow and sticky (very sticky!) and slimey.

it wasnt exactly like that. i guess similiar though. im guessing unfertilized eggs?. thanks for the replies
