The egglaying has started

8 eggs only this time

Finally one of the eggs hatched, and a small Ambanja panther chameleon is set to life.

From now on and all future i'm never ever going to use a incubator again.
I took 4 of the egs in te incubator and they all collapsed. The other 4 eggs i incubated in a Tupperware box filled with moistened vermiculite in a cabinet at my bathroom for 9 months with a constant temperature and it worked like a charm. Now waiting for the 2 other eggs to start sweating.

Just keep in mind the more you breed her the more strain on your female & it will shorten there life span.

Ok, thanks for your reply.
I'm not breeding her any more. Only 3-4 times during her lifespan of 3 years now, so i think she's good mate

Wanted to share some more pictures of the young one that hatched 3 am night to monday local time (CET + 1)

And then there was number two hatching.
It started to hatch at the top of the egg, so i guess that is not normal and i decided to help the little fella out of the egg.
