Rocko Not Well

:(First of all I'm not posting to be criticized but to share information. I noticed Rocko's eyes a little sunken in last night and he got his first burn. I went to the store and got him some Pedilyte and gave him a warm shower. I did move his basking lamp. Still don't know how he managed to get his back that close. This morning he was looking better but I have a Vet appt for him and Lola (her followup to bacterial infection) tomorrow. Lola had a negative fecal this morning so I'm glad about that, still waiting on Rocko so I can get a fecal on him. I will let ya'll know the out come Monday.

Ouch. Hopefully it'll heal relatively quickly. Move any perch/basking spot downward, basking light upward, and adjust wattage if nessesary. Might've been as little as a cooler day (ambient temp) that required him to stay under the basking light longer than normal.
If its not quite as warm at the basking spot, the lizard will simply stay a little longer to reach ideal temp. Better slightly on the cool side than slightly on the hot side.
Its a bit of a balancing game with artificial heat.
Best wishes

I thought about putting some "real" aloevera on the burn since I have the plant but wasn't sure. Anyone have any info on aloevera?

UPDATE: Rocko's vet check went well and he is going through a shed right now so maybe that's why he wasn't feeling so well. He's back to him old self and well hydrated. Lola's back on Baytril for the Systemic Bacterial Infection on her flap. The skin is turning black and the vet peeled some off. The skin is very hard and appears to be dead. Does anyone know if it will grow back?
