Ringo's new cage - design

So when I first made the original cages I planned for Angel and Ringo, I seen SO many things I left out that I really wanted to add the first time. So since I only have Ringo now I decided that I would make a *Paradise* of a cage for him this time around.

Project: The cage will be 2x3x4ft, 3 screened sides with top and bottom screened as well, 1 screened door.
The stand is going to be built with the cage. The stand itself will be 2x3x2ft, it will have a little shelf that about 4in away from the main base for drainage. Then there will be a lower shelf for extra storage.

If I have the extra money I may leave the back screen off and do a background. I am using pet screen http://www.lowes.com/pd_45048-15369...71&Ntt=pet+screen&pl=1&currentURL=&facetInfo= this time for the sides, door, and bottom. Using what i have left of http://www.lowes.com/pd_15157-55-30...t=aluminum+screen&pl=1&currentURL=&facetInfo= for the top. I have 2 large bird feeder cups I'm going to screw into the frame for crickets and roaches.

Putting 2 different plants in same planter...

So, as I'm looking at Ringos cage now I have 2 pothos, 2 umbrella trees, 2 ficus, 1 croton, and 1 DRACAENA. Well I was wondering if it would make a difference if I get 2 box planters and put a ficus and a umbrella tree together. I was thinking about getting http://www.lowes.com/ProductDisplay?langId=-1&storeId=10151&catalogId=10051&productId=3452404&cId= 2 of those for the croton and dracaena. The pothos are in 2 10" hanging planters.

So would 2 different plants in the same planter be ok or should put them in the some planter together? Otherwise I would have WAY too many pots in his new cage.

I am undecided it I want to make his new cage for a corner piece or leave it like a square shape. *sigh* I need to decide by tomorrow.

Have the lumber for the cage going to work on it tonight too dang ht out right now (103 degrees). Will post pics soon.
