Hello, I'm new to being a chameleon owner and very new to this website. Last Thursday I got my first pigmy chameleon from underground reptiles. He was wild caught. It's been a week now and he hasn't eaten at all. I set up a feeding bowl in his cage with mealworms on it. I sprinkled them lightly with calcium power and waited. His terrarium is 12x12x12, with lots of plants and a water bowl. He has a 5.0 UVB light on the top of his terrarium. The temperature is usually in the mid 70s. I need help, I have no idea what to do.

Get Hydei fruit flies asap. You can usually find at Petco or Petsmart. Dust w calcium and use liberally, Then read as much as possible about culturing them and raising Brevs on this forum and elsewhere. You are way behind!

Make sure to give a verity of food like fruit flies, small crickets, hydei flies, regular house flies, bean beetles, ect.
im glad hes eating for you now!
