Retained Sperm

Wassup cham fam, any experienced breeders that can help me out? I wanted to know if you pair a female with one male then another in a few months how will you know who the sire will be if she has retained sperm? Is it based off the freshest sperm and the retained is meant for a female that has no contact with a male? Or other way around? Thanks for the responses

To my knowledge breeders will let them have an infertile clutch before pairing them with a different male. This is the only way to differentiate the sire of the clutch.

They can retain sperm for up to a year so if you breed again before a year you really wouldn’t know who’s the daddy. I have only kept the same mate for my females.
