Retained Shed

My 7 month old male veiled started his fist shed on Sunday August 29th.
He has finished shedding except for his dorsal spines and casque.
There is some shed stuck in between the spines and on the top of his casque. I haven't misted much since the 29th, because I heard it was good for them to dry out while shedding.
Also, his ventral spines are very un-even and jagged-y, is that any concern.

Just wanted to know what I should do to get this shed off.
It lights out right now, but I can provide a picture tomorrow afternoon.

I'd say don't be concerned...he's gotten close to adulthood, sometimes shed bits hang on until the next shed...Of course, the more experienced people might disagree, in which case you should ignore my thoughts.

Luie almost always has some shed on him somewhere. Only once did I get concerned over a piece and my vet told me to wet a Q-tip with very warm water and rub it off but I would not suggest doing this unless you REALLY get a problem. Veileds tend to shed in sections.

Alright, thanks.
I have a feeling that if I got a Q-tip within 6'' of him I would loose a pinky.
:D
