I have a 8 month old panther and today i noticed some popping like sounds when he was walking on my arm and i looked it up and saw it was a sign of respiratory infection. He acts normal walks normal and for the most part eats normal he recently hasn't been too interested in crickets but eats silkworms just fine. I was watching him to make sure he was alright after he was put back in the cage he drank a few water droplets and then he gasped and his body looked to have tightened up. Does this sound like a respiratory infection? I plan to bring him to the vet tomorrow.

Current Problem - RI? recently started to hear slight popping noise and for the first time today he seemed to gasp/cough and his body looked to tighten up

Hard to be sure but some signs of an RI include leaning their heads back, struggling for breath, mucous or bubbles, etc. I'd see a vet if you've noticed any of these. What is your supplement schedule? And if I read it correctly, you have a reptisun 5.0 as well as a reptisun 10.0? That seems like it's a bit excessive but I'm not sure about the effect it would have.

i have 2 reptisun lights because i took the one off the old cage when i upgraded to his big cage

I would take one of them off. A single reptisun 10 should be more than enough, even if it has to go through a screen. You likely know your chameleon better than anyone else, if you notice a change in his behaviour for more than a few days, a visit to a qualified hero vet would be the best option.
