Rescuing a baby veiled any advice would help

Someone posted in a local pet group they are looking to rehome a baby veiled chameleon. I asked for pictures and was instantly sick to see the poor baby the way it was. I'm going to pick him up tomorrow but was wondering if there was any advice you guys could give me to rehabilitate this poor guy. Do you think he's showing early mbd signs? I can't tell for certain. He's clearly dehydrated as all hell is there anything special you'd recommend like a sort of "icu"? Does this little guy even have a chance!? Thanks in advance!

Signs of MBD in its right arm below the elbow. Photos not clear enough to see more.

Looks really bad. I hope the poor thing is stronger than it looks.

Sometimes sunken eyes aren't exactly due to dehydration....but id hydrate him with a very fine gently mist.

Good luck.

Agreed, MBD. It’s probably safe to assume your going to have to deal with all the other issues that typically go along with rescues as well. Vitamin deficiency, not gutload, poor appetite, shedding difficulty...

it’s definitely going to be an uphill battle but it’s doable, it’s all about her will to live.

do you have a vet?
