rescued veiled likes to eat alone ??

i rescued a veiled cham 2 weeks ago,really bad owner,it was starving,got home it ate meal worms right from my hand,then for the next bunch of days seemed like she wouldnt eat,when i went to the enclosure she would walk away,im cup feeding,ive noticed though the food is disapearing, i left super worms ,and they are gone,crickets mostly gone,but she wont eat in front of me ? this normal,im guessing it is cause i know they are kinda shy ? thanks

from what I have experienced from my veiled (Who hates me) this is normal behavior. The only time he will eat in front of me, is when he is very very hungry, then he will have one or two crickets. I will have to leave the remainder of his food in his feeding dish which will be gone when I get home from work.
