reptisafe water conditioner

I added reptisafe to my jackson's water and it seems like he doesn't like the waters taste he does not drink as much as he used to. has anyone seen sth like this or I am just imagining things

I use it and my guys seem to drink just fine. Are you putting in the proper amount?

Yeah I use the amount it says on the bottle
