For those of us in the KCMO area, over a dozen reptiles were passed to a local shelter after their keeper passed away. The shelter is overwhelmed and doesn't even have setups for all the animals yet. All the reptiles will eventually be sent to foster homes then adopted out, but if you have any extra supplies or can contribute financially, everything is appreciated right now.
One of the lizards is a large monitor - the shelter may not have the resources to care for him even temporarily - if you have any expertise, please reach out to them.
