I started a "thread" before bashing reptiledepot.com, because they took forever to ship me a much needed 2x2x4 cage. I have since talked to the owner Steve, and he told me they have had several shows he was busy with and that unfortunately store issues were left to (apparently) incompetent staff. One of which is being let go. I felt bad having to cancel the order after talking to him, but had ordered one over the weekend. I dont want to deter anyone from buying from this store . . . just don't order from them while they are having shows =) They also have a myspace page where you can get online coupons.

I have been going to Reptile Depot for years. But since they are nearby, I have the benefit of driving there to pick up what I need. They attend many reptile shows and doing what they do is not easy. But it's my favorite place. Especially for chameleon cages.

I don't like to deal with Reptile Depot. I am always very unimpressed with the way they care for thier animals at the store and at shows...

i have gone to the store a few times now and its really been a mixed experience for me, mainly because i go there when there are shows going on. Reptile Depot is usually at those shows, so when i show up at their store they got some guys who dont know whats what in their store. But the few times i have been there when the owner and more compitent people were around id always forget about the other times ive been there. I saw your other post bashing them and was about to tell u that there was a show in Sacramento and another show in LA i believe it was, but the thread was already closed. Put it up to bad timing

yea, the owner really needs to get rid of the people who don't know what they are doing. . .
