Anyone been to the reptile depot in chatsworth Ca? I need feeders bad but there website confuses me on which types of feeders they sell. whats there prices like? I need silks or horns.

I would just call them, they are a bunch of friendly guys. I went out there to get some darts, got some crickets but I dont remember what they charged it was reasonable though.

there feeders site is
http://www.herpfood.com/

on the left there is a click here, it opens up to the feeders and prices

looks like they are drop shippers, if i remember correctly they are drop shipping from the east coast.

i cant stand drop shippers, no accountability.

it wont kill you to try it out, but im in so cal and found it best and cheapest to order from the reptile shop, get 1k for 15 bucks, and have some one to talk to about problems

I used them one time. I ordered a thousand crickets. The people there are very nice, but it took 2 weeks for me to get my crickets. I ended up ordering 500 crickets from somewhere else to get me through that time. The crickets were good and healthy.

I'm not looking for crickets stopped using crickets awhile ago. only looking for horns and silks

ive been the store quite a bit i got a female ambilobe from them its an ok place cept didnt give me much info bout my female cept age i asked where she came from the guy told me magasgar... go figure

Go to Mulberry.. I haven't ever seen Reptile Depot with Silkies or Hornworms, and if they did have them they would just be buying them from Mulberry and marking it up anyway.

there in the valley falbrook i think? thats the place to go like joe said they probally order from there

I've heard better things about Reptile Depot than another forum I'm on, but not specifically regarding feeders.

I guess everyone has their opinions.

I buy all of my feeders from them in store
they have been great with everything, but usually don't have any horn's...once in a while they will but i wouldn't count on it

We buy all of our feeders from Mulberry, since they are in Fallbrook which is not far from Oceanside (where we live) we just call ahead of time to make sure that someone is there and then go. They are super nice and easy to work with, the owner is very nice and always has butter worms, silk worms, phoenix worms, crickets, goliath worms etc. We have had very good luck with buying from them and if you can do it in person, you save on shipping. Also if you become a regular there in person, you may get discounts or free stuff, you never know.
