If you have a ReptiFogger.. does it still work.. Mine just stopped working and I got it at a Retpile show... Does anyone have any quick fix advice for me?:(:(

They're really not very useful tbh.
Get a misting system instead and save yourself the annoyances with it.

But there are sooo expensive... do you know where I can get one for cheap??

Not really. How much was your fogger? Like 60 bucks? thats more than half of a starter kit form mistking (not sure on aquazap) And they are very durable and wont break on you.

About the fogger, what broke on it exactly? is it something electrical or a part?

Misting systems produce mist as the name 'Mist system' implies. If you want a fog, your much better off going to your local drugstore and spending $40 on an ultra-sonic cool mist humidifier. I've heard nothing but bad things about those Reptifoggers.

The repti-fogger is a great product for vivariums, I have had mine for about a year and haven't had a problem with it (I use it for my Dart frog tanks). That being said a fogger really isn't appropriate for most chameleons best to spend the extra couple bucks on a Mist King (I use this as most on the forum do for my chameleons).

I'll take the advice from the experts and get a Misting System... And yes, the the Reptifogger cost me $50 bucks... I'll stop being cheap and get the misting system:D:D

i bought one, and tbh, i really like. though i barely use it, it works great for glass enclosures. next to useless for a chameleon cage though if you are looking for a humidity rise. though they do sometimes like to bask in fog from time to time. just make sure it is always sterilized and with R.O or conditioned tap water.

Ok! I've been using the "reptifogger" for about four months. You will want to clean the "disk" with white vinegar, this is the "easy" solution to your problem. About a month ago mine stopped working. I took it apart and found that there are two points on the "bread board" circut that where not soldered well at all. I soldered them back and this fixed the issue. Its no comparison to a mistking. But I find it usefull still. I pipe it in next to my basking light, and the basking light heats the fog and creates a cloud, my Xanth really seems to like it. I use this along with a hot water humidifier and heavy hand misting. Its definatly not going to hurt to utilize it. But its not a save all for hydration of your cham. I feel better about the overall relative humidity using it though.
