Hey guys.

SO ive been making some posts finding out certain things, buying supplies before i get my cham and having everything set up and i will post here my setup to made sure its good before i buy my veiled :D

now i was planning on using a big terrarium (exo terra glass) but mesh is better.

SO my question is!

Is the reptibreeze XL 24" x 24" x 48" a good size for a veiled from baby to adult? and can anyone link me to a good drainage setup for one? THANK YOU :D

An adult will need a large 2'x2'x4' tall cage. A baby will need a smaller cage just to get started. I usually transfer my chameleons at the age of 5 months to their adult cages.

so the cage size is fine for an adult. Is it possible to keep my juve in that cage... i could keep my juv in a plastic tub i have modified but id rather jsut keep him in the reptibreeze is that possible?

that size of cage will be to big for him as a baby. when they are little you need to mointer their hunting and make sure they can find and eat their crickets. but dont worry when he hits his growth spurt watch out he will get big quick then you can move him to his big boy cage. but if you can afford it then cup feed him by using the container that he comes in thats what i use with holes alreay in the cup to put zipties in on the wall and vine. but let him watch as you put the feeders in the cup so he knows were to get his grub. chams are very smart and they know when its din din time and were their food is. my pandora is always at her dish everyday when she knows its time for feeding watiing for her grub.

good idea! could i possibly use zip ties and put a board to cover up a portion of the cage so i dont have to buy a smaller one?

I find that the reptibreeze cages rust along the bottom and at the hinges quite easily. You may want to try a cage from LLL Reptile. You may get a longer life out of it.
