I am going to have to agree with the dark thing. I don't think they let near as much UV rays in as screen cages. I still think for some applications (temparary and storage wise) they are the way to go. It would not be, in my eyes, to spend $80 on a cage that you are only going to use once or a few times but only for a few months. And when your not using the nice screen cage it can be a pain store it assuming you do not have a large area to keep your animals. So sometimes the reptarium is the way to go, but I would personally never use one for "permanent" housing. I have noticed that plastic they use is much more brittle than what they used a few years back.
