What determines wether you use the 10 or 5 is it depth of the enclosure??

I believe that some use the 10.0 rather then the 5.0 because of the density of the mesh screening they use for their cage.

Using reptiglow 5.0 26w cfl's would be better as it wont have any problems using it.

I started with a compact 5.0 but I since switched to a linear bulb. The thing I noticed was how much more active my boy got after the switch, might be a fluke but my boy is eating, drinking, and exploring like a mad man now.

If you are in requirment of high quality mesh caging then 10.0 bulb voltage would be good end model for your use, but if you have 5.0 i dont think there would be any problem. But depends on which type of caging is required.
