I have had a foil pack of this stuff on a shelf for over a year, unused!
I always figured, the Bug Burger and fresh veggies have all the water my
crickets need.
Well, I decided to make a batch and give them some.
I also have a reptile under tank heating mat under the crick bin at 80F
mostly to keep stuff from being to wet.
Anyway, I started noticing way fewer dead cricks then before.
Maybe coincidence, but I have been using the Hydro-Load now for over a
week and have noticed a huge reduction in dead cricks.
These are the brown banded cricks from Ghann's, the Supercrickets that can
jump clear across the room!! (exaggeration alert)
Normally, I see about a dozen dead ones every few days, and have to remove them.
Now I hardly see any, and they seem more active!!
Am I imagining things, coincidence??
Does anyone else use Hydro-Load to water their cricks?
